Live pitches by student finalists
A distinguished panel of judges will evaluate Carbon Slam pitches and select First, Second and Third Place winners in both Climate Science and Climate Solutions, with prizes of $4,000, $2,000 and $1,000 awarded respectively in each category of competition. Carbon Slam invited guests will select the People’s Choice best pitch of $1,000 in both Climate Science and Climate Solutions by text voting.
Poster-judging reception
During the poster-session reception, judges will evaluate poster presentations by the runners-up from all campuses and select the First, Second and Third Place winners in both Climate Science and Climate Solutions, with prizes of $1000, $500 and $250 awarded respectively in each category of competition. Carbon Slam invited guests will select the People’s Choice best poster of $250 in both Climate Science and Climate Solutions by text voting.
Winners announced
Winners will be announced at the reception. All decisions by the judges are final.
